This High School Student Wore Gina Rodriguez's Golden Globe Dress To Prom

Back in January, Gina Rodriguez, the "Jane the Virgin" star and general humanitarian, promised one lucky high school student she'd loan her 2015 Golden Globes dress for prom. This was in response to Jessica Casanova politely suggesting she'd love to wear her dress for prom on Twitter.

Apparently, that gracious high schooler's wish is Gina Rodriguez's command. After a little back-and-forth communication on Twitter, the sitcom star arranged for Casanova to wear her 2015 Badgley Mischka Golden Globes dress to her high school's prom in Buffalo, NY.

And as of Thursday, we all got to see that dream come to life.

I think we can all agree on two things: Casanova looks stunning in the dramatic, mermaid style gown. And Gina Rodriguez is our new hero.
