Trump Supporter Schooled On FB For Thinking Obamacare And ACA Are Different
I totally get it -- keeping up with politics is truly exhausting.
In between a 24/7 news cycle, Donald Trump tweeting whenever he wants and social media keeping us constantly updated, it's hard to make sure you read and understand everything.
But that sure doesn't stop people from spouting their views on Facebook, does it?
Oh, if I only had the time to fact-check you all... But the truth is, even if I do fact-check you, you'll choose to believe what you want anyway. I've lost hope.
Thankfully, there are a few heroes out there in this world who haven't lost it yet, and their work was shared on Imgur.
A clueless Trump supporter posted this video from C-SPAN onto his timeline.
Immediately, one of his friends called him out for his party and their "progress."
Just look at that condescending tone. "Jesus where to start?" I love that this is going to have such a great pay off.
Another friend jumps into the conversation, confused as to why the original poster is happy Obamacare may be repealed.
Yeah, I'm slapping my forehead over this guy, too.
When words fail you, you have to resort to memes.
His friends then made it clear Obamacare is the Affordable Care Act.
Obamacare started as a term of disparagement. However, Obama's campaign embraced it and had supporters tweet "I like #Obamacare because..."
Obama said about the nickname,
I have no problem with people saying Obama cares. I do care.
Unsurprisingly, the original poster did not return to defend himself.
Honestly, I'm also SHOCKED he hasn't deleted the post.
Realistically though, he was probably busy researching how he's going to get healthcare if the Affordable Care Act is repealed.
Yikes, what else does this guy, and maybe other Trump supporters, not understand?
