Guys, pregnancy is amazing and also kind of crazy.
Pregnant women literally just walk around living their lives while entire new humans slowly form inside of them. That's wild!
That whole forming-a-new-human thing is a pretty complex process, so it's no wonder it looks different for everyone. Sometimes, those differences are rather extreme, causing people to lose their damn minds over this photo of two pregnant ladies four weeks apart in their terms.
The picture was posted on Instagram about four months ago by Chontel Duncan, an Australian fitness instructor who was five months pregnant at the time of the photo. The woman on the right is her friend Natalie, who was six months pregnant at the time.
Chontel wrote in the post,
[And] this is where it all began... Two ladies 4-5 weeks apart in their pregnancies, both super happy & healthy, loving their journeys, embracing the changes & proud to share their growing bumps!
In the caption of another photo taken around the same time, Chontel wrote,
Each women carries different and this most certainly doesn't mean one is doing something wrong or not healthy etc. We both have healthy growing babies & we both have had incredible pregnancies so far, feeling amazing & full of energy.
Yesssss, get it, girls! Both of you look beautiful, and I am in awe. Duncan seems to be expecting to deliver this month, so good luck!
Now, before you guys freak about Chontel's fitness routine being unsafe for her baby (she faced a lot of social media backlash about it), please chill. Doctors say it's perfectly fine to exercise while pregnant.
Don't be jealous just because she could clearly kick your not-pregnant ass.
And before you start hating on Chontel's friend Natalie, please chill once more. Both of these incredible ladies are literally sustaining two human lives right now. Everybody is going to react differently.
Let's just sit back and marvel at the miracle of pregnancy in peace.
