Al Roker Said Exactly What Everyone's Thinking About The Ryan Lochte Mess

Ryan Lochte, We're not mad. We're just disappointed. Very disappointed.

You probably know by now the US Olympic swimmer made up a few things about the alleged robbery he and his team were "victims" of last week.

He openly admitted not telling the truth when he was interviewed by NBC's Matt Lauer. Here's the important thing he said:

I over-exaggerated that story and if I had never done that we wouldn't be in this mess.

Yeah, you're telling us.

So thanks for fessing up, Ryan. But also, WTF?!

Our feelings could not have been portrayed better than by Al Roker.

America's jovial uncle laid the smackdown on Ryan while chatting about it on the Today Show.

It's sort of like when the calmer parent gets mega angry with you and uses your full name.

He said,

He lied. He lied to you, he lied Matt Lauer, he lied to his mom, he left his teammates hanging while he skedaddled. He lied. There was no robbery, there was no pullover, nobody cocked a gun to his head. He lied. He said their car was hit — that wasn't true.

Truth bombs. So many truth bombs.
