This PGA Golfer Stripped Down On The Course To Save A Drowning Baby Bird
After this heroic act, it's safe to say veteran golfer Greg Owen is knee-deep in PGA waters, both figuratively and literally.
The British competitor, who has 24 years of professional play under his belt, was shot stripping down to his briefs during a practice round for an upcoming tournament and wading in the water to save a baby blue jay.
The caption for the video, which was posted on Monday night, read,
Working with Greg Owen during his practice round at TPC Sawgrass today for the Players Championship. Walking off the 16 th tee with Greg and Brandt Snedeker when a baby blue jay falls out of a tree, tries to fly across a pond only to make it half way across. What does the 6'5 210 lb big man do? Jump in and save the bird of course!! #bigheart #animallover
Owen will hope there are much more birdies in his future than the one blue jay he saved on Monday. The Englishman will be teeing up this weekend at TPC Sawgrass, a tournament at which he will look to get his first win since 2014 and some attention a little more aligned with his actual golfing skills.
