NYPD Releases Surveillance Footage Of James Blake Getting Tackled

Ex-tennis star James Blake was tackled and arrested by plainclothes NYPD officers on Monday while he waited outside his hotel for a ride to the US Open.

According to police, Blake fit the description of a suspect involved in an identity theft ring in the vicinity of the Grand Hyatt hotel on 42nd street.

The NYPD just released the video surveillance footage of Blake getting tackled to the floor.

Even though he was reportedly released within 15 minutes of being handcuffed, Blake suffered a cut to his left elbow and bruises to his left leg.
