Cleveland Cavaliers fans who attended Justin Bieber's concert Tuesday night may have enjoyed the Biebs' show, but they're almost certainly cursing the pop star now after he donned a custom Cleveland jersey and claimed LeBron James and the Cavs will win the NBA title this year.
It's no secret Bieber has been a fan of just about every professional sports team known to man, and it appears his loyalty and support is synonymous with a team's poor performance.
So, when Bieber donned that Cavs jersey during his show at Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena, he basically all but handed the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy to any team except LeBron James' Cavaliers.
Don't believe in the Bieber curse? Well, you may want to check out the damning evidence.
As Cleveland.com pointed out, Bieber wore a Cleveland Indians hat in February 2015, only for the Tribe to miss out on the postseason.
In November 2014, Bieber reportedly attended Bible study with the Pittsburgh Steelers the night before they played the lowly New York Jets. The Jets won the game the following day.
In July 2014, the Biebs took a photo with Johnny Manziel. Need I say more?
In October 2014, Bieber attended a Cavs game at The Q and a New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. Both teams lost their respective games.
In June 2014, Bieber rocked a Spanish national team soccer kit. Spain then proceeded to lose in the FIFA World Cup.
In July 2013, Bieber took a photo in the Chicago Blackhawks' locker room. The Hawks went on to lose in the NHL playoffs to the Los Angeles Kings the next season.
It looks like Cavs fans on Twitter have certainly been paying attention to the Biebs' cursed track record.
Better luck next year, Cleveland.
