As you can see in the picture above, it was all going so well for Michael Jordan and the North Carolina Tar Heels. Marcus Paige had just drained a ridiculous three pointer to draw UNC level with Villanova with just four seconds remaining in regulation.

Jordan's team erased a 10-point deficit to set up what looked like it would be an epic overtime period to decide the National Championship. But, basketball is a cruel lover.

With time winding down, Villanova's Kris Jenkins nailed a buzzer-beating three-pointer to lift the Wildcats over the Tar Heels.
