President Barack Obama is one of the biggest Chicago sports fans you're likely to find.

Last month, when the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks came to visit the White House, Obama couldn't resist taking a dig at America's neighbor to the north, Canada, by reportedly saying,

It is always fun to have the Stanley Cup here... By the way, we've got a state dinner with Canada coming up, so we might just leave it right in the middle of the room -- to gloat a little bit.

If that's what the president had to say unprompted, get a listen to what he said when Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited the White House on Thursday.

As you can hear in the video above, Obama not only brought up the success of his Blackhawks but also said the US is better than Canada overall when it comes to hockey and beer.

Damn, those are fighting words, Mr. President.
