It's official: US Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte is having a baby!
The 32-year-old Rochester, New York native took to Instagram Wednesday afternoon to announce he and fiancée Kayla Rae Reid are expecting a baby in 2017.
Naturally, Lochte announced he's having a baby in the most Ryan Lochte way possible...
To caption the above photo, a clearly overjoyed Lochte wrote,

Lochte's fiancée, Kayla Rae Reid, posted a similar photo on Instagram, except she showed her face in the underwater baby announcement picture.
To caption the above photo, Kayla, who is obviously just as excited as Ryan Lochte to bring a baby into this world, wrote,

I don't really want to jump to any conclusions here, but am I the only one who's getting the vibe Ryan Lochte and Kayla Rae Reid, you know, weren't exactly planning to have a baby?
I'm just saying, they appear really, really, really surprised about the fact they're going to be having a baby in 2017.
It's no secret Ryan Lochte came under huge scrutiny this past summer when it came to light he fabricated an entire story about getting held up and robbed at gunpoint while at the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil.
In reality, not only did Lochte not get robbed at gunpoint, he and his boys drunkenly trashed a gas station after a wild night on the town in Rio.

Speaking on the incident, Lochte said,
It was still hours after the incident happened. I was still intoxicated. I was still under that influence, and I'm not making me being intoxicated an excuse. It was my fault, and I shouldn't have said that.
