UFC Ring Girl Arianny Celeste Has Beef With Women's Champ Ronda Rousey, They Should Just Scissor Fight
With a women's division recently being added to the UFC, we could've of course anticipated more drama than ever. But, the friction isn't even between fighter and fighter at this point, as we have another storm brewing between a ring girl and the women's champ.
Veteran UFC ring vixen, Arianny Celeste, doesn't quite fancy women's MMA superstar, Ronda Rousey, for a number of reasons. She appeared on MMA Junkie radio, where she let us know how she really feels.
"I don’t really like the way she carries herself," Celeste said. "I don’t think she’s a good role model for women. I think that women should empower each other and give each other a little pat on the back."
Strong words from a bad woman. Clearly, there was some underlying history for Arianny to go out of her way to call out Ronda like this, and that's exactly the case. This all started when Rousey called her out, for no apparent reason, in her Maxim Magazine feature.
“It would have been really funny if I’d beaten Arianny Celeste, because that would be like a triathlete coming along and beating the runners in a marathon,” Rousey said. “Like, ‘Ha-ha, it’s your job to show your t******—I do that better than you!’ Maybe next year. She’s only getting older, and I’m reaching my prime.”
Celeste, of course, found out about it, and she's been firing back ever since. Just be careful, Arianny. We don't want you getting hurt or anything!
"I’ve personally been talked about by her, and I don’t even know her. I’ve met her twice. She said a couple things in her Maxim interview. A lot of people pointed it out to me, but I didn’t really acknowledge it."
There's just too much awkward tension between the two right now, and I can only prescribe one solution -- a five-round scissor fight! First one to cry loses.
