Let’s be real: Feeling good in your skin can actually help you feel more prepared to face the school day. That’s why these easy makeup looks are going to become your go-to back-to-school looks. To sweeten the deal, not one of these looks requires more than 10 minutes of your time — you can slap ‘em on even if you’re running late. So, go ahead, hit your snooze button one more time before you stunt all through the halls in these back-to-school makeup looks.

A go-to look of Emma Chamberlain’s is an even complexion with brushed-up brows, a bit of blush on the cheeks and bridge of your nose, mascara, a tinted lip balm, and, sometimes, a hint of sparkle on the lids. It requires very little makeup and even less technical skill to toss a look like this on.

There’s no need to go hard with six eyeshadow colors. Rather than spend precious snooze time blending your eyeshadow, you can just rock a wash of one, vibrant color all across your lid.

You can get an ultra graphic look with a winged eyeliner of any color that’s off that beaten path (i.e. not black or brown). A glossy lip will tie it together, but that’s truly all you need. And if you really don’t have time to draw on a wing, take a page out of Hailey Bieber’s look and opt for a stick-on wing, like Face Lace’s Devotion Liners.

Just because you’re in a hurry, doesn’t mean you can’t bring the glam to your easy makeup routine. Rihanna’s 10-minute going-out makeup for Vogue’s Beauty Secrets still features a soft-sculpt contour, blush, highlighter, and shimmering eyeshadow. It’s truly amazing how quickly you can achieve a Rihanna-approved makeup look.

Bring on the blush with Addison Rae’s rosy look, which features soft pink blush on her cheekbones and across her nose for that classic egirl look. The TikTok influencer finished it off with heavy highlighter and mascara — the ultimate “looks like it took a long time but really didn’t” makeup look.

Watercolor eyeshadow is a genius way for you to play with a whole rainbow of colors really, really quickly. Instead of painstaking precision and blending, just apply the colors in big, sweeping motions for a delicate editorial look.

One of my favorite quick beauty looks to a soft, slightly smudged winged eyeliner, mascara, and a hint of glitter in your inner corner. Set your shimmering intentions with a little lip gloss and, if you have time, a dash of blush doesn’t hurt.
