Euphoria Mastered Sad Girl Style In Season 2, Episode 6

Happiness was nowhere to be found, but the ‘fits? They were off the charts.

After the last episode, Euphoria’s Season 2, Episode 6 felt like a comedown. That said, this latest episode still managed to be a lot while also offering a calming break from the week before. To be honest, I may lose it if I have to hear Cassie say Maddy and Nate weren’t dating one more time. But even though everyone had something to say it was Euphoria’s Season 2, Episode 6 fashion and beauty looks that spoke the loudest.

Rue’s Malcom X t-shirt was a graphic streetwear moment that held so much meaning. To wear the civil rights activist on a shirt while reaching out to Ali for forgiveness was just a top tier costume design easter egg.

Of course, Rue’s mom, Leslie, stunned during their family dinner moment. Her no-makeup-makeup look is dewy and effortless. Could she have been trying to impress Ali?

Even heartbroken, Maddy brings her modern Y2K aesthetic to her ‘fit. For her babysitting look, she wore hip hugging jeans and a lacy crop top. It may not be the maximalist Maddy fans are used to, but she’s never going to leave the house in just sweats.

Kat’s really been feeling her bold one color eyeshadow this season, and I’m loving it. She also kept her psychedelic prints from the last episode.

Dark academia is Lexi’s look these days. While fighting with Cassie and hanging out with Fezco, she wore a mustard t-shirt and jumpsuit. The curlers also hint that Lexi wanted to look her best for her maybe date with Fez.

I’m pretty sick of Cassie at this point, but even I can appreciate a comfy, matching loungewear set. She may be a dumpster fire type of mess RN, but at least she’s committed to looking cute while doing it.

I’m obsessed with the woman Maddy babysits for, and her closet is out of this world. The shimmery, purple dress is exactly what I would put on if I wanted to feel a bit better, too.

After that secret visit from her partner, Custer, Faye’s arc may be heading down a dark path. However, her funky, watercolor-esque slip dress stayed bright even with all the rain this ep.

Cozy and sad, Jules went with a childish t-shirt that featured smiling kites, rainbows, and a kitten. She clearly just wanted to feel as safe and warm as possible. However, I could totally see her wearing this shirt in a super, fashionable ‘fit elsewhere.

Euphoria airs Sunday nights on HBO and HBO Max.
