The first process took five hours, according to the supermodel’s longtime colorist.
Gigi Hadid is a hair chameleon. Though known for her naturally dirty blonde hair, she was spotted with auburn, bright blonde, and “expensive brunette” tresses over the course of two months at the end of 2021 to early 2022.
By the end of January, she was back to her more original shade, which she proudly put on display during Milan Fashion Week at the end of February. See her roots?
By early March, the elder Hadid hit the runway for Coperni at Paris Fashion Week. This time, her brows were back to their usual shade, but her long hair was visibly lighter.
According to her longtime colorist, Keith Shore, Hadid’s hair transformation took five hours from start to finish.
“It's a bleaching process, and it's very layered and a bit of a complicated thing.” he told E! News of his latest work with Hadid. “Because of bleaching hair, you can't overlap bleach on top of bleached hair really, or it will break.”
Days after the process, the Tommy Hilfiger muse covered up most of her body while walking in Vivienne Westwood’s PFW show, so it was harder to see her new ‘do.
Of course, Hadid’s beauty still shined through before, during, and after the event.
...but the hair changes didn’t stop there.
Come Friday, March 11, Hadid went even lighter with her look, showing off a platinum, practically white ‘do in London.
She then took that look to the Burberry runway in London. Girl never stops working or werking.
