Lil Nas X is a certified red carpet icon. He’s mastered drama, pomp, and sequins, and naturally, his 2022 VMAs look was everything. Believe me when say you’ve never seen anything like this Harris Reed look before.

Are you seeing all of this feathered goodness? I’m overwhelmed. Lil Nas X’s look is more of a sculptured piece of art than an outfit. Frankly, it feels wrong to call it an outfit at all.

If you look closely, you’ll see that Lil Nas X’s skirt is held-up with asymmetric boning which gives the look even more movement as he posed on the VMAs 2022 red carpet.

This Reed creation featured a hat with a broad halo as well as a hoop skirt with black fringe feathers that were just so over-the-top. And, yes, Lil Nas X did confirm on the black carpet that the look was super heavy to wear.

The rapper was clearly feeling himself and looked just as thrilled to be wearing this ‘fit as I was to be staring at it.

Under the skirt, the drama kept coming. The “Industry Baby” rapper wore tailored sequined pants that sparkled like a disco ball in all the lights.

For his makeup, Lil Nas wore glittery eyeliner on his under eyes with a slight wing. It was pretty much the most subtle part of his look, and it wasn’t very subtle.

I need Lil Nas X to drop his skin care routine yesterday because his skin was popping off in ways beyond human comprehension. He was fully glowing at the VMAs and it was everything.

I mean...tell me Lil Nas X doesn’t look like a literal angel here. I dare you.
