Giving me hype beast on his wedding day.
Timothée Chalamet turned heads as he made his debut at the 2021 Met Gala in a bold suit that was a study in streetwear-meets-high fashion, and an interesting choice of footwear.
The Met Gala co-chair put a fresh twist on a classic white suit in a Haider Ackermann number with white buttons and a contrasting sleek dark collar, which he paired with an exposed, high-neck undershirt.
Chalamet’s satin suit jacket featured a modern neckline with blue lining and delicate white stitching.
In contrast to the luxe fabric, structured fit, and strong shoulders of his white jacket, the Dune actor opted for sweatpants-inspired white pants with a slouchy fit. It’s giving big Zoom meeting vibes!
However, Chalamet kept the details luxe by adding some dazzling broaches to the top of his slouchy white pants for a hint of sparkle.
Chalamet tucked his pant legs into his socks to draw attention to his most playful Met Gala accessory: white Converse tennis shoes, which gave his whole look a decidedly cool street-style feel.
The Converse added a fun pop, super subtle pop of red to the otherwise monochromatic ensemble.
It may be Chalamet’s very first Met Gala, but it’s safe to say the co-chair already looks like a veteran in the red carpet department with this memorable look.
