Why Your Gemini Friends May Actually Be Better Than Other Signs

I'm a Gemini, and two of my best friends in the world were born one day before me. I'm curious whether or not that's why I like them more than other people. Do Geminis generally get along better with other Geminis?  Thanks! Trio of Gems

Hey Trio of Gems,

First, I'd like to congratulate you on picking a great name. Love it.

Second, it makes a lot of sense that you would feel you get along with and enjoy your friends who were born the day before you were, astrologically speaking.

Being born one day apart from someone means that all of your outer planets (Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter, Pluto) are in the same sign and house, which means you share a lot of the same world views.

We each have more personal planets in our chart (like the Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, and Mercury) that govern how we feel inside, how we view relationships, what we want from people and how we communicate.

But outer planets like the ones I mentioned above symbolize our place in the bigger picture in life. Sharing those outer planets with your two pals gives you a sense that with them, you are able to more effectively participate in life.

You might feel like when you're in their company, you have a clearer idea of what your own greater purpose is.

But now that I've gotten the technical astrology talk out of the way, I would also say that Gemini people often make the best kinds of friends.

First of all, you never have to worry about a Gemini falling out of touch with you.

They'll text you little things they're doing or seeing throughout the day and make sure to keep you in the loop.

Being a Gemini yourself, you probably really appreciate having someone who can keep up with the amount of communication you put out there.

Second, Geminis are fucking FUNNY. Their minds move a mile a minute, and there's never a lull in the conversation, or a lack of ideas to contribute.

When other signs might be dying to stop talking and go home, Geminis have a love and a gift for gab like nobody else.

Third, you'll never be bored with a Gemini friend. They are terrified of boredom and are constantly coming up with new plans about what to do together, where to go, and what to see.

They have a love of travel, even just short road trips, and they'll always be down for a spontaneous trip somewhere out of town just to change things up.

So to answer your question, Trio of Gems, if all of this rings true, then yes, you probably do like your friends more because the universe has given you a little nudge.

But also, who needs to have this stuff explained? You like them 'cause you like them.
