Three seasons ago, Mad Men teamed up with Banana Republic to create a line inspired by the iconic 1960’s style of dress featured in the show. The line was a huge success, and just like that, Banana Republic is already releasing its third collection inspired by the show.
This line has been co-created by Mad Men’s costume designer, Janie Bryant, and consists of pieces inspired by some of the more stylish characters in the show. Women’s items in this collection fall between $30 and $140.
This collection launches today, and if you’re familiar with the previous collections, you may notice that it’s a bit different than what has been previously offered. Since the show is passing in years, the clothing in this collection has shifted more to mid-60’s styles. The designs will have much bolder prints, shorter hemlines and brighter colors.
