I think the biggest issue with women and their weight is not knowing how to dress for their body type. No matter what size or shape you are, if you dress properly, you will look ten times better than if you don’t.
Many women have difficulty accepting the fact they have gone up a size and still continue to dress in the same clothes they did when they were ten pounds lighter. Newsflash: you aren’t fooling anyone, but yourself! Everyone else can see that you don’t fit into those jeans, especially when your ass crack is halfway out.
“If you’re never comfortable in your own skin, you’ll never be comfortable in clothes.”
If you’re a size larger, so be it - so is 80 percent of society. You need to buy clothing that is your true size. If you need to feel better about yourself, maybe consider cutting the tag out. Size is only true to the label, and as women, we let that little tag affect us. Don’t try to squeeze into a small crop top if you are not small enough to fit into it.
If you don’t feel comfortable, it might be a blessing in disguise. Go out and buy some more sophisticated clothing, so that people will take you seriously. If you feel uncomfortable, you will look uncomfortable. Wearing clothes that are too small on you is just awkward and unflattering. Stop shopping at Baby Gap. You don’t want to have to avoid sitting down because you’re worried about fat rolling over your pants. Just suck up your pride and purchase the larger size.
No one knows what size your clothing is, except for you. If you dress the proper way for your body, no one is even going to notice the extra pounds you may have packed on. You want to know how people will notice? If you attempt to squeeze yourself into clothing that's too small, accentuating your rolls.
You want to give the illusion that you are more fit than you actually are? Buy clothes that flatter your figure. Either that, or pick up those dumbbells, before rocking a tank top, and do some reps. This will give immediate, yet temporary, results. Trust me, this works.
