Teen's 'Unicorn Skin' Makeup Takes Galaxy Freckles To A Whole New Level

by Emily Arata

When it comes to Halloween makeup, try thinking outside the box. As a matter of fact, why not think outside the planet entirely?

Just months ago, the internet collectively lost its mind over artist Adrienne Edwards' galaxy freckles, a rainbow of stars painted around her eyes.

Now, a teen beauty addict named Luna F. is taking the look up a notch with constellation makeup.

Several weeks ago, she posted photos of the dramatic look, captioning each one “unicorn skin.”

The glitter, shot in darkness, looks a lot like the night sky while you're away from city lights — impossibly dense with stars.

According to Luna's photo captions, no less than four different Glitter Injections highlighters went into the look.

She finished off with loose glitter palettes to create a more three-dimensional look.

And of course, there was a finishing touch: House of Beauty's Lip Hybrid in Raven. It's the goth lipstick you always wanted to wear as a teenager, in a formula you couldn't actually afford on a mall job salary.

The makeup look has gained more than 20,000 likes. One exuberant fan spoke for all of us, wondering, "How long does it take to get this off tho?"

While the glitter constellation look is impressive, it's not surprising coming from her. The 17-year-old artist is so talented that she's already been tapped to help advertise for NYX.

Just try to get over her take on a neon skeleton.

Not enough creepy-crawlies for you? Throw in a few scorpions and beetles.

She's even been spotted hanging out with CoverGirl's first-ever cover boy James Charles.

It's only natural they've taken inspiration from each other.

Real question: How can teenagers be this talented? Don't they have homework to do or something?

Thank you, social media, for fostering brilliant makeup artists who can build their careers before even becoming legal.
