Can we all just agree "masturbation" is an awful word? It's clunky, multisyllabic and nothing close to an action most women associate with bliss.

Refinery29 asked women to submit their terms for self-pleasure, and they received answers ranging from "watering the tulips" to "#clitting."

While no one really agreed on a nickname for the action, all of the interviewees were pretty enthusiastic about their terms.
