The iconic Adidas Forum goes way back — to 1984, specifically. This timeless silhouette was originally developed as Michael Jordan’s shoes for the basketball court. Since then, the Forum’s popularity has naturally ebbed and flowed with the decades, remaining a core staple in Adidas’ history. But despite its age, the Forum hasn’t lost one ounce of its styling potential. In fact, the silhouette has only gotten better with time.

In 2021, it became clear that what was old is new again, thanks to the young people’s fervent love of thrifting. Ever since, Adidas has returned to its roots, resurrecting the Forum in myriad variations to show just how classic and versatile it can be. What may seem like a regular sneaker is chock-full of history, comfort, and sartorial edge that takes any look to the next level.

Don’t believe this sneaker can flow between the vibes and seamlessly tie together looks ranging from formal to streetwear? Keep tapping for a variety of modern, casual, and chic thrifted looks, all styled with the OG Adidas Forum. Good luck not adding this classic shoe to your cart after that.

Streetwear was, and forever will be, an environment in which the Forum positively thrives. From the velcro strap to the instantly recognizable stripes, I don’t need to tell you how topping off your streetwear look with the Forum just feels right.

Never just a court shoe, the Forum is the pick for every type of player: the athlete, the TikTok star, or the fashion lover running to the next thrift store.

A world in which the Adidas Forum doesn’t pair just as well with athleisure as it does with a silky black slip dress on a night out just doesn’t feel right.

Add in just a few statement accessories alongside the Forum and you have a look that mixes luxe with comfort, ensuring your night out only stops when you want it to.

Think of the Forum like a chameleon, effortless blending into daring and neutral looks alike, adapting to any print or pattern you throw at it. With trends emerging and fading at the drop of a hat, that kind of versatility is a necessity.

For a day out on the town, picnicking, or restaurant-hopping with friends, count on the Forum to keep you — and your look — going and looking as fresh as when you stepped out the door.

Although the Forum complements modern looks as well as ever, the way it amplifies a casual, retro look is simply *chef’s kiss* — a testament to its truly timeless nature.

Despite being a statement all on its own, the Forum is undeniably an everyday outfit staple, a trusted piece of your sartorial arsenal you’ll want to reach for over and over again.

You can make your commute easier by rocking these shoes throughout your workday. Pair them with a colorful t-shirt and sensible trousers, and you’ll be the funkiest person in your office. Plus, your feet will love you on the train ride home.

Why not take your matching loungewear set on the go with your Adidas Forum shoe? They’ll double down on your sporty look, whether you’re heading to the gym or just trying to be cozy throughout your day.

As the Forum come in plenty of funky color palettes, you can break them out with your most psychedelic, off-the-wall pants. Rather than toning down your ‘fit, double down on your colors with a powerful pant and shoe pairing.

Take on summer’s confusing weather with a tank top, shorts, an oversized button-down, and, of course, your Forum. You won’t overheat, yet it offers enough coverage that you don’t have to worry about burning.

When you want to get kind of dolled up but not look *too* fancy, grab your favorite dress and add the Forum sneakers for a more casual look. I’m personally feeling brunch with this maxi dress and sneakers combo.

Adidas Forum will become your go-to shoes, so make sure to match them with your most-loved joggers and a bright button down. It’s a Saturday-morning-just-running-out-for-coffee look you’ll want to repeat, and repeat, and repeat.

Combine your couch-ready WFH looks with something more office-expected by grabbing a blazer and a fitted pair of sweats. The Forum’s ability to be dressed up or down will pair perfectly for this vibe.
